Dr. Michela Bertagnolli's Vocal Masterclass in KL

Dr. Michela Bertagnolli Febvre returns with accompanist Florian Caroubi for another round of masterclasses in Kuala Lumpur. Check out details below:

We are delighted to have Dr. Michela Bertagnolli Febvre accompanied by Maestro Florian Caroubi back in KL from October 12 – Nov 4 for our production of Carmen by Georges Bizet.

While they are here, we are also arranging to conduct some vocal master classes starting from 28 October till November 3. This time, we will be adding a piano master class with maestro Florian. As we will be busy with the production, we are not able to conduct the master classes any earlier.

Detail of the classes is as follow:



GROUP MASTER CLASS (GMC)
The GMC is suitable for beginner to intermediate singers. The group format allows singers to learn from each other and also participate in group exercises. Participants can join any number of days (minimum one full day and maximum 3 days). Number of participants per class is minimum of 6 and maximum of 10.
i. Date and Time:
• Day 1 - 28 October 2013; 10AM - 5PM with 1 hour lunch break.
• Day 2 – 30 October 2013; 10AM - 5PM with 1 hour lunch break.
• Day 3 – 2 November 2013; 10AM - 5PM with 1 hour lunch break.
ii. Venue:
• Minconsult Sdn Bhd; Lot 6, Jalan 51A/223, 46100 Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia
iii. Format:
• Class includes group or individual vocalisé; Individual coaching on technique and repertoire;
• Participants should prepare at least 2 songs with at least one in Italian. Operatic arias preferred.
• Score must be submitted by e-mail to info@eatsingtravel.com minimally 2 weeks before the master class. The class is suitable for beginners to intermediate singers.
iv. Fee:
• RM500 for 1 day.
• RM800 for 2 days.
• RM1000 for 3 days.

INDIVIDUAL MASTER CLASS
The individual classes are private one-to-one sessions suitable for advanced singers. Class can be tailored to specific needs example focus on technique, interpretation, coaching in Italian and French diction and preparation for a role or recital. Duration: 1 hour per class
i. Date and Time
• 29 October; 10AM – 4PM; Lunch break at 12PM
• 31 October; 10AM – 4PM; Lunch break at 12PM
• 1 November; 10AM – 4PM; Lunch break at 12PM
• 3 November; 10AM – 12PM;
ii. Venue:
• Minconsult Sdn Bhd; Lot 6, Jalan 51A/223, 46100 Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia
iii. Format:
• Requirements should be made known upon registration or minimally 2 weeks prior to the master class and songs and score must be submitted by e-mail to info@eatsingtravel.com minimally 2 weeks before the master class.
iii. Fee:
• RM250 per hour for 3 classes or more;
• RM300 per hour for 1-2 classes.

PIANO MASTER CLASS
Maestro Florian Caroubi will conduct the piano master class, which is suitable for intermediate to advanced musicians.
i. Date and Time
• 11 October; 10AM – 5PM; Lunch break at 12PM
ii. Venue: TBC
iii. Format:
• Participants should prepare at least 2 pieces.
• Score must be submitted by e-mail to info@eatsingtravel.com minimally 2 weeks before the master class.
iv. Fee:
• RM300 per hour
