About THREE:

THREE is a biennial collaborative concert series founded in 2006 by Ko Matsushita, Jennifer Tham and Jonathan Velasco featuring their respective choirs, Gaia Philharmonic Choir, the SYC Ensemble Singers and the Ateneo Chamber Singers.

THREE aims to foster friendship and cultural ties between the three Asian choirs, and in doing so, promote greater cultural exchange and understanding between the three countries. THREE also supports the International Federation for Choral Music’s World Choral Day initiative. World Choral Day is designated as the 2nd Sunday in December, and aims to promote peace, solidarity and understanding between the nations through choral music.

The first THREE concert was held in Singapore, and THREE has been staged in Tokyo, Manila and Sapporo since. 2014 marks the return of the concert series to Singapore for the first time since its inauguration.
